Who are specialists?
They are medical and allied professionals who offer specialized care beyond the basic services provided by primary care practitioners. Examples of healthcare specialists include dermatologists, physical therapists, gynecologists, massage therapists, and many others. Some specialists require a referral from a primary care physician. Specialists like physicians work in clinics and in hospitals, there are lots of specialist clinics one UBC campus. Check out our map to see where they are!
